Hello all,
I have been playing with an idea for some time now. I would like your input. Below is an email I sent off to TRIAD yesterday afternoon. Read it and please comment on it! I'd love to know what you all think.

To whom it may concern:
I have been a CO in Obsidian Fleet for about 7 1/2 months now. Before that, I have been a CO in a number of other fleets, a TFCO in a couple different places, and a Joint Commander for a fleet (which only disbanded when the other two Admirals and I left for college). I have been siming Through all that time, one of the most entertaining and frankly challenging sims I was ever a part of was a antagonist sim. That was many years ago, and lately, the idea has resurfaced in my mind.
What I am looking to do is start a sim (and eventually a Task Group of sims if the idea gains enough momentum) that would not be apart of the Federation. Obsidian Fleet itself is based in an area perfect for this idea. With the destruction of Romulus and the ensuing chaos in the Romulan government, the outskirts is where anarchy will appear first and quickest. Obsidian Fleet is going to be engaged in humanitarian and policing efforts...
There are two avenues a sim like this could go - 1) This vessel could be a dissident who is opposed to the Federation and Romulan governments' activities. The crew could be made up of Humans and or Romulans working together. This would be quite similar to the Maquis of the Dominion War. The other route is more of a mercenary/ pirate type sim. These storys could include illegal salvage, raids, theft, kidnappings, smuggling, etc. Either would be an interesting switch to the RPG world. The advantage of either of these sim types is that joint missions would become more exciting as ship's could be attacked by these antagonist sims or OF fleeters could be assigned to hunt down a particular vessel...
I have several interested parties and the willingness to undertake a test run. I think the idea is different enough to attract attention for recruiting not only from Obsidian Fleet but also bring in new blood.

Hello crew,
Endeavor has been around for nearly 7 months now. During a lot of that time, posts were moderated by the command staff for grammar and readability...
However, it is the XO and my decision that this is no longer necessary. The maturity, attention to detail, and quality of this crew's posts no longer needs to be scrutinized by either of us.
Just continue to put out these high quality posts! Be sure to continue to proof your entries before hitting Post. Thank you all for your dedication and support of this sim.

Hey all,
This afternoon, I successfully updated our Nova site to 1.0.6. This is the last planned release for Nova 1. Nova 2 will be out later this summer.
You should seen further correction of bugs and improved performance. Please let me know if you come across any issues.

As of this month, Endeavor turned 6 months old, as we mentioned before! This was a very exciting landmark. With that anniversary, We have 3 people who earned the Obsidian Fleet Service Citation - Sal Jora, Holly Gillo, and Jim Conway. Congrats to Jora and Gillo for all your help and support. Endeavor would not be what it is today without your help!
Thank you all very much! Lets get to Mission 2.0 in July, shall we!?
